Sober

holding on to the past

too scared to let go

don't know what to do

don't know how to show

now I know I'm free

now I know it's over

I can stop the pain

I can make it sober

Happy Joy Smile

Happy, happy, joy, joy

feeling like a big toy

don't know what to do now

lost the reason to smile

sad days keep me distant

fleeting moments in the distance

The Strength in You

Flying high without a care

giving love with more to spare

feeling free and giving back

putting out what others lack

only you and you alone

can take us where we need to go

can show us the things that we don't know

life may change the way you move

but you always stay in the groove

and never have anything to prove

Strength

Strength is knowing

when to let go of everything

and let the chips fall where they may

Weight's Been Lifted

The shackles have been lifted

just like a present given

and now I'm free to go

spread my wings and float

there's no more being chained

it's time to end this game

say goodbye to what once was

it's over now oppressions done

Freedom Rings

Freedom rings the bell of truth

people hear and rejoice

its time to release old hurt

and find ways to move on

old wounds heal fast

giving people lives to live

letting things go on by

Fly Freedom Fly

Happy faces all around me

smiling people doing good things

no one's ever green with envy

fly freedom fly

people want to sing with joy

like little kids and a brand new toy

having fun with girls and boys

fly freedom fly

Freedom

Freedom is hard to come by

but when it is found

it should be treated like gold

Honesty Honesty

What I want you won't give

what I need is not that big

you want things to be easy

honesty is loving without fear

fear is only fearing what's inside

you can give me what I want

you can give me what I need

I Stand Strong

Everything crumbling

world in so much pain

people falling

I stand strong

nothings the way it should be

things keep going downhill

lives slipping away

I stand strong

Happiness

Open up your mind

find the joy inside

keep the faith alive

always do what's right

do any and everything you want

never put on a front

find ways to have fun

let the good time come

Smily face keep on smiling

Never give your smile away

Keep finding ways to be happy

life will always be here for you

You Are Strong

The world on your shoulders

with love in your heart

giving everything you have

always from the start

when the chips are down

and everything is gone

I Need To Tell You

I need to tell you

the love we had grew

I tried to hide the way I felt

but nothing would stop my heart

I need to tell you

I tried to make it not true

I wanted to make my heart shut down

but you made it open up so wide

To Tell You The Truth

To tell you the truth

when I look at you

all I see

is the one I knew

I know your not the same

I really wish things hadn't changed

losing you

makes me feel nothing but pain

I thought you should know

that no matter how life may go

you and I

will let our love grow

The Things I Can't Say

There are so many things I want to say

but when they come to mind I get afraid

something tells me to let it go

even though deep down in my gut

it tells me that you will understand

so I will reach out my hand

I will give you my heart

nothing will tear us apart

Smiles

Smiles light up my face

bubbling from the inside

causing my mouth to curl

causing me to let out sound

feelings make me feel good

Nothing else in the world is like it

You, Me, Happiness

You make me happy

every time I see you I smile

nothing in this world can compare

to the way you brighten up my life

you give me love

always sharing your warmth

forever I will give my heart to you

and show you the love and happiness you showed me

The Truth

Saying this is very hard to do

but I can't hold it in any longer

I have to tell you how I feel

I have to tell you the truth

I lost You

Walking away is hard

knowing what we had was true

there's nothing I can do

I lost you

saying goodbye is never easy

wondering if we make a mistake

I have to live with the choice I made

I lost you

I lost the only one I loved

and now I can't stop crying

wishing you would return

I miss you

Lost Without You

Nothing looks the same

my mind is all messed up

I can't think straight

I need you to save me

I'm lost without you

there is nothing I can do

my heart is broken

and only you can fix it

Found My Way Back

I once was lost

but now I'm found

with my feet

I hit the ground

running in and out of sight

falling down the rabbit hole

slipping off the deep end

like a flimsy tent I fold

I found my way back

to the place I need to be

where my heart is open

and my words are free

I Found You

Your the one eluding me

so close I could touch

so far out of my reach

why can't I have you

all I want is what I can't have

reaching out with both of my hands

I just want something solid

but you slip through the cracks

and I am left with nothing

come to me and be mine

let me find my way to you

Lost and Found

Being lost is never a good thing

you don't know where you are

or where you are going

but that doesn't last long

because someone always comes

and soon you will be found

and you finally know where you are

and where you are going

Up In The Air

Up in the air

nothing can touch me

flying high without a care

I am on my way home

people all around me

but I'm the only one I see

my mind is all over the place

and I can't shut it down

I am going many different directions

reaching out for steady hands

there's nothing out there but dark

up in the air flying high without a care

Floating On Air

I float on air like a river runs to the sea

knowing that all you think about is me

sweet songs of happiness fill my head

love dreams come to me in my bed

every day I fall in love with your smile

wanting to hear your voice for a while

images of you are burned into my brain

my heart is like your urn away train

I give to you my mind, body, and soul

eternal flames my love will never go cold

knowing you and I were meant to be

I float on air like the river runs to the sea

The Soar

Like a bird I fly high

head up in the sky

soaring above the clouds

reality cant be found

I spread my imaginary wings

letting go of everything

the breeze carries me away

with love in my heart I sway

singing my song of joy

like a child and their favorite toy

it's all about the soar

Fly High

When you're up in the air you feel good

but just as fast as you go up you can go down

life is all about happy moments and fun

but you have to remember that there is more

don't fly so high you can't get back down

Hard to Breathe

It gets so hard for me to breathe

every time I see you walk out and leave

this is not how it's supposed to be

I wish that you would let me be free

the faster I run you still find my heart

like a game you throw your love darts

people tell me I should be more smart

but when it comes to you I just can't part
